Open Call

Thanks to all the artists who applied to our 2026 open call, juried by Petra Bibeau and Kathryn Cua. We will reach out to selected artists by early May.

/room/ is the small project space adjacent to our main gallery, dedicated to exhibiting the work of local, emerging artists selected from annual open calls by guest jurors. Selected artists are invited to exhibit experimental solo projects developed collaboratively from their submitted proposals and given the opportunity to engage with the community through public programming, including workshops, talks, and performances.

All exhibiting artists are paid a base honorarium and offered a budget for public programming and materials.

We only accept proposals through our /room/ open calls, which we announce here on our website, in our newsletter (subscribe here), and on Instagram. There is never an application fee to participate.
