We are so excited to announce a mojo making and petition paper writing workshop with Richard-Jonathan Nelson, whose video Waiting at the Shoreline for Them to a.k.a Me is currently on view in /room/. The workshop will take place Saturday, April 20 at 7pm.
There is limited space, so please email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve a spot!
Using domestic materials like oils, tinctures, herbs, and flannel fabrics, this workshop will be an intentional act in using Southern hoodoo conjure as a way to analyze – through metaphysics – our own desires, needs, and behaviors. Traditionally hoodoo practitioners were referred to as root doctors because they would dispense items, magical formulas, and prescriptions for daily conditions.
