Using domestic materials like oils, tinctures, herbs, and flannel fabrics, this workshop will be an intentional act in using Southern hoodoo conjure as a way to analyze – through metaphysics – our own desires, needs, and behaviors. Traditionally hoodoo practitioners were referred to as root doctors because they would dispense items, magical formulas, and prescriptions for daily conditions.
